DRC BASKETBALL – DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

DRCB specializes in developing education opportunities for young athletes. DRCB works tightly with local authorities in order to build a frame for young athletes to excel. Our team operates on the ground on a regular basis, reinforcing local action and initiating development. The local athletic potential is therefore used as an educational catalysis aiming to create opportunities for local youngsters. In order to obtain success, DRCB partnerships with education centers (universities, colleges, school) as well as with athletic structures and private sponsors, all believing in the potential lying in the DRC youth.

YOUTH INITIATIVE – CANADA

Youth Initiative Canada is a growing network of young people who are peace builders, activists, leaders and mentors. Youth Initiative Canada comes in a myriad of challenges facing the young people Globally, where they are growing up in an environment of dynamic change. For some this complexity provides opportunity and choices, for others it means a struggle for survival. Many young people have stamina, talent, energy, curiosity, a sense of adventure and invulnerability. They are resourceful and resilient even under the most conditions. Most of the youth who are productive and energetic remain unemployed, continue to suffer from poor health, lack sufficient support and some of them have special needs that require special attention. These include those living with HIV/AIDS, Youth with disability, gender disparity. Etc.

HOOPADDICT – UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Hoopaddict is dedicated to the betterment of our children and community. We use game of basketball as a catalyst to educate our youth, develop their self-esteem, foster teamwork, and bridge the gap between diverse backgrounds. Hoopaddict creates training programs, provides individual and group instruction, and events to assist youth and adults in getting fit, staying fit and living fit. Hoopaddict utilizes unique basketball training programs to promote the academic and social development training for children by providing an atmosphere of encouragement, with moral structure, positive role models and activities that are engaging. Hoopaddict teaches the fundamentals of basketball while shaping the character of each participant at the same time.
